Every building’s energy and water data, collected, checked and ready to report

BrickFlow replaces the spreadsheets, inbox folders and retyping behind portfolio reporting with one pipeline that keeps data accurate as it arrives.

Stop retyping bills

Upload utility bills as PDFs or images and AI reads the usage, cost, dates and account numbers, with a confidence score on every field. You confirm each bill before it is saved, and the original file is kept beside the values.

  • PDF and image bills read by AI, with a confidence score on every field
  • Green Button Download My Data files for electricity and natural gas
  • Green Button Connect My Data, as each utility completes its registration of BrickFlow Pilot
  • CSV and Excel imports for the history you already have

Checks

Catch the reading that does not look right

Readings far above or below a building’s own baseline are flagged so you can confirm them or record the cause. When two sources disagree, the difference waits for you to decide.

  • Anomaly alerts against each building’s baseline, with the sensitivity you choose
  • A queue for values that Portfolio Manager and your records disagree on
  • Possible duplicate buildings flagged, never merged automatically
  • The source of every reading kept, with who confirmed it
Electricity, April
96,880kWh
340% above baseline
Water, August
1,184m³
Within expected range

This reading looks unusual. Confirm it is correct or record the cause.

Sync, reporting and the rest of the portfolio

Every module works from the same reviewed records, so the numbers agree wherever they appear.

Portfolio Manager sync

Connect your Portfolio Manager account to BrickFlow as a service provider. Properties and meters sync both ways, on a schedule or when you trigger it, with a log of every run.

  • Properties and meters synced both ways
  • Scheduled or on-demand runs, with a sync log
  • Scores and computed metrics shown next to each building

Reporting

Consumption, cost, energy use intensity, emissions and anomalies across the portfolio, with exports in CSV, Excel, XML and PDF and a GRESB spreadsheet in GRESB’s own field layout.

  • Portfolio dashboards and building comparisons
  • Energy and emissions reports in CSV, Excel, XML and PDF
  • GRESB spreadsheet export and EWRB figures in the portfolio summary

Deadlines

A calendar of reporting deadlines with reminders is included. Deadline tracking by jurisdiction, showing which of your buildings are covered by which program, is on the way.

  • Reporting calendar with reminders
  • Deadline tracking by jurisdiction for every building Coming soon

Finance

Costs come off the same bills as consumption, so spend and usage always match. Exports for your accounting system and general ledger are planned.

  • Utility cost by building, period and resource
  • Accounting and general ledger exports Coming soon

Leasing Coming soon

Occupancy, floor area and tenant data kept alongside consumption, so intensity figures use the right denominators.

  • Occupancy and tenant data synced with consumption Coming soon

Operations

Meters and accounts are already kept per building. Equipment records come next, so a change of service or vendor does not break the data trail.

  • Meters and accounts per building
  • Equipment records Coming soon

Your data stays in Canada

The app, the database and the bills you upload run on Google Cloud in Toronto, with encrypted backups in Montreal every night. Green Button energy data stays in Canada unless you connect ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, and then only the building and meter data you choose to send. Portfolio Manager data for Canadian buildings is governed by Natural Resources Canada under Canadian privacy law and stored on a U.S. EPA server. Bills you upload are read by Anthropic’s Claude API under commercial terms: not used to train models, and deleted by Anthropic within 30 days.

See it on your own bills

Start with one building and one bill, and watch it land in Portfolio Manager.
